The PUCMM is a Catholic, non-state institution founded on September 9, 1962, by the Dominican Episcopal Conference. It emphasizes academic excellence and is open to all, regardless of race, social class, ideology, or religious beliefs. The university focuses on scientific research to find solutions to social problems and promote the common good. This associate degree began with the fundamentals of computer science, covering topics such as algorithms, data structures, and programming languages like C and C#. It then advanced to the Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigm and relational databases. The program culminated in a final project where I developed an appointment management application to replace the manual phone-based process. Using ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, and Crystal Reports, I automated and streamlined the process, reducing errors, improving efficiency, and enhancing both staff and customer experience by providing a more organized and accessible scheduling system.
Work & Experience
As a Frontend Engineer, I played a key role in optimizing search functionality, improving data retrieval by 35% through a unified search feature, significantly enhancing performance and user experience. I developed dynamic Angular Forms with auto-save and auto-complete, streamlining multistep workflows for improved efficiency. Additionally, I implemented a drag-and-drop CSV upload feature, accelerating data integration by 40%. I led the modernization of a legacy codebase, transforming it into a configurable and scalable product, and contributed to the migration from AngularJS (JavaScript ES5) to Angular 16 (TypeScript), ensuring better performance and maintainability. I also designed a Docker-based Single Sign-On (SSO) solution using OpenLDAP and Keycloak, which became a key MVP differentiator that attracted client interest. My experience includes working with Webpack Module Federation for a micro-frontend architecture, as well as HTML, CSS (Bootstrap & SASS) for building structured and maintainable UI designs.
