.Net Developer

Starware specialises in software solutions for the Logistics and Supply Chain Industry. One of the products we work with is our very own integration platform – Grid, which can run as a stand-alone application but is mostly used in combination with the JDA WMS or any other WMS system.

As a .Net Developer, you will be in close contact with the Project team and JDA WMS Developers to help improve the platform and complete the WMS solutions.

At Starware you will get to design and deliver creative usable solutions for products you see in your everyday life. Therefore, the quality of your work will impact a wide range of users and numerous employees working with the WMS.

What will you do?

• Work closely with the client to create a functional solution based on the agreed upon requirements.
• Translate the technical solution design into a working application.
• Implement industry knowledge to enhance the functionality of the solution.
• Test the system performance with the implemented solution. Define and refine test case scenarios.
• Functional support and troubleshooting during and after the solution implementation.
• Configure and set up the involved warehouse devices (scanners, printers, sorters, etc.).

Ideally, you…

• Have general programming knowledge and specialize in: .Net, .NET core and SQL.
• Are a team-player with great problem solving and analytical skills.
• Work in a precise and structured way and are independent when needed.
• Are proactive in suggesting your own ideas to the client when you see potential for solution improvements.
• Have a good sense of quality and you write good code.
• Have a good knowledge of Supply Chain concepts.
• You will have an advantage if you are also familiar with communication protocols (socket communication, OPC), have experience with agile development methodologies and know the Dutch language.
